M N Buch, born on 16 January 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1964 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Commissioner, Director General, Chairman, Managing Director, Executive Director, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Member Secretary at Gujarat from 1 February 2000 to 31 January 2003. He was associated with the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions during his service.
