M N Brahmachari, born on October 1, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds degrees in Commerce, Law, and a postgraduate degree in Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Divisional Officer, Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Director. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Finance Department from September 1, 1991, to September 1, 1993.
