M Mutia Kalaivanan, born on June 11, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation from September 24, 2011, to June 30, 2012. His extensive experience encompasses roles such as Director, Secretary, Project Director, Commissioner, Executive Director, Deputy Secretary, Chairman, Joint Commissioner, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Private Secretary, Under Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Senior Regional Manager, Additional Collector, Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, and periods under suspension.
