M. Lakshmi, born on November 9, 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds an M.Sc. degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Currently, she serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, a position she has held since August 11, 2021. Throughout her career, she has held various key roles including Chief Executive Officer, Joint Commissioner, District Collector, and Regional Development Commissioner. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration and development of Tamil Nadu.
