M K Varshney, born on 18 December 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, Varshney served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Labour Department of Madhya Pradesh from 31 January 2014 to 31 December 2016. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative and leadership positions within the state government.
