M K Thombre, born on 20 May 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He served in various capacities including District Collector and District Magistrate. He held the position of Chief Executive Officer before his most recent role as Joint Chief Executive Officer at Mumbai, Maharashtra, within the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). Mr. Thombre is a graduate and has contributed to the administrative framework of Maharashtra during his tenure.
