M K Swamy, born on 15 October 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Vice Chairperson. His most recent designation was Vice Chairperson Director in the Urban Development Department, a position he held from 1 September 1995 to 31 October 1997.
