M K Bhowmik, born on January 21, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the IAS with distinction until his retirement. His most recent designation was Deputy Secretary, a position he held from March 1, 1993, to January 31, 1997. Throughout his career, Bhowmik contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal.
