M Imkongla Jamir, born on 10 November 1974, is a 2002 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. She holds an M.A. from Delhi University and a postgraduate degree from the Indian Society of International Law, Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Resident Commissioner at Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi, since 29 November 2024. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Resident Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Personal Secretary to Minister, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Resident Commissioner, and Additional Commissioner. She is proficient in English, Hindi, Kannada, and AO. Jamir continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
