M Hanumantha Rao, born on 17 August 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, serving in the Telangana cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Currently, he is the Director in the Department of Endowments, a position he has held since 26 February 2026. Previously, he has served as Collector and District Magistrate. Mr. Rao continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
