M Girees Kumar, born on 25 May 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 Kerala cadre. During his career, he served in the Finance Department, holding the position of Secretary from 30 April 2012 to 31 May 2015. He also held the role of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister on two occasions. His service reflects a dedicated tenure within the Kerala cadre of the IAS.
