M C Dutta, born on December 1, 1931, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Home Department, holding the position of Joint Secretary from February 1, 1988, to November 1, 1989. Prior to this, he worked as a Land Reforms Officer and Additional District Magistrate. His service in various administrative roles reflects his tenure in the Indian Administrative Service.
