M B Patel, born on June 8, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2000 batch, Gujarat cadre. During his career, he held several key positions including Joint Commissioner, Additional Development Commissioner, District Development Officer, and Executive Director. His most recent role was Joint Commissioner at Vadodara, Gujarat, from January 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014. He was associated with the Sardar Sarovar Punarvasavat Agency. Mr. Patel served with dedication throughout his tenure in the IAS before retiring from service.
