Lok Ranjan, born on January 22, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an M.P.A. in Public Administration from Syracuse University. His most recent position was Secretary at the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDONER) from September 23, 2021, to September 19, 2023. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Director, Commissioner & Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, SDO, and Assistant Collector.
