Lian Kunga, born on June 1, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours degree in History. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector and Additional District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, Welfare Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, and Administrator. His most recent position was Cane Commissioner at Patna, Bihar, in the Sugar Industry and Cane Development Department from August 21, 2012, to May 31, 2017.
