Leena Nandan, born on 19 December 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree in English and a postgraduate degree in Development Management. Currently, she serves as Secretary in the Department of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi, since 31 December 2021. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Project Director, Managing Director, District Magistrate, and Chief Development Officer. She is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi. Leena Nandan remains in active service.
