Laxmi Narayan Gupta, born on 17 August 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Odisha cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in Economics, an M.A. in Economics from Rajasthan University, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Birmingham. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Resident Commissioner, and multiple Chairman and Managing Director roles. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department from May 2017 to August 2019.
