Lav Aggarwal, born on 19 February 1972, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Director General at the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi since 31 December 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, and Chairman & Managing Director. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
