Lalzirmawia Chhangte, born on August 21, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 2009 batch of the AGMUT cadre. He holds an LL.B. from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and an M.A. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities, including Commissioner & Secretary and Secretary. Currently, he holds the position of Information Commissioner at Mizoram, a role he assumed on March 2, 2026.
