Lalzirmawia Chhangte, born on August 21, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 2009 batch of the AGMUT cadre. He holds an LL.B. from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and an M.A. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Throughout his career, he served as Commissioner & Secretary and Secretary in various capacities. Since March 2, 2026, he has been serving as the Information Commissioner at Mizoram.
