Lalta Prasad, born on August 22, 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Statistics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Director, District Magistrate, and multiple terms as Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Public Works Department from January 1, 1990, to August 1, 1990.
