Lalit Mohan Rayal, born on 28 June 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds an MA in History and an M.Sc. in Mathematics. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of Nainital, Uttarakhand, a position he has held since 12 October 2025. Previously, he has held the role of Additional Secretary. Lalit Mohan Rayal continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
