Lalit Mehra, born on June 19, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Rajasthan cadre. He held various key positions including Managing Director, Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, Administrator, and Sub-Divisional Officer. He served as Principal Secretary in the Department of Irrigation and Water Resources, Rajasthan, from October 10, 2013. Lalit Mehra holds a Graduate degree in Physics, along with a Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Management. His extensive career reflects diverse administrative experience across multiple roles in Rajasthan.
