Lalfakzuala, born on March 11, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1965 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions including Assistant Collector, CEO, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, OSD to Minister, Joint Secretary, and Chief Secretary to the Government. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra.
