Lakko Venkateshwarlu, born on April 1, 1966, is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Management and Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Principal Secretary, Chairman, DG, MD, and Director at the Transport Department in Lucknow since May 1, 2022. His previous roles include Assistant Magistrate and Collector, District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, and Chief Electoral Officer, among others. He is proficient in English, Telugu, and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
