Lajpat Rai Yadav, born on August 8, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served in the Education Department, holding the position of Special Secretary from February 1, 2001, to August 31, 2002. Throughout his career, he also held roles as District Collector and Magistrate, and Special Secretary. He is a graduate by education.
