Labanyendu Mansingh, born on October 11, 1946, is a retired IAS officer from the 1970 Gujarat cadre. He served in various capacities including Secretary at Gujarat from June 2004 to October 2006. His extensive career in the Indian Administrative Service encompassed roles such as Director General, Additional Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretary. He held positions in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Mansingh holds postgraduate degrees in Political Science and a PG Diploma in Public Administration.
