L V Subramanyam, born on April 22, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History, a postgraduate qualification in National Development, and a Diploma in Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Sports and Youth Affairs Department from November 27, 2015, to April 30, 2020. Subramanyam’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the state government.
