L S Baghel, born on July 1, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in English and Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Commissioner & Director, Mission Coordinator, Director, and District Collector. His most recent position was Commissioner at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, from July 13, 2007, to June 30, 2009.
