L Krishnan, born on May 9, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Financial Controller, Managing Director, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Additional Secretary, and Special Secretary in the Department of Finance. His most recent designation was Special Secretary from September 26, 2001, to September 26, 1991.
