L C Gupta, born on June 9, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1958 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English, a postgraduate degree in Mathematics, and a certificate in Industrial Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Collector, Deputy Director, District Collector, Director, Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Vice Chairman & Managing Director in the Corporate Affairs department of Maharashtra.
