Kundan Lal, born on January 6, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Sanskrit. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, District Collector, Director, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director in the Industries and Commerce department of Gujarat from January 1, 1996, to January 31, 1997. Lal’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the Gujarat government.
