Currently, he serves as the Municipal Commissioner at Sharif Municipal Corporation, Bihar, a position he has held since January 12, 2026. Prior to this role, he worked as a District Development Commissioner (DDC). Kumar Nishant Vivek continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration and governance of Bihar.
