Kumar Arvind Singh Deo, born on July 8, 1959, is a retired IAS officer from the 1984 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics, an M.Phil. in Physics, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Joint Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department from August 27, 2010, to July 31, 2019. His extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience across multiple roles in the Indian Administrative Service.
