Kumar Arvind Singh Deo, born on July 8, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics, an M.Phil. in Physics, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Joint Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department from August 27, 2010, to July 31, 2019.
