Kumar Abhishek, born on January 13, 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, assigned to the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from the University of Delhi, an M.A. in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and an M.A. in Economics from IGNOU, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at J&K, a position he has held since February 23, 2026. His previous roles include Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate. He is presently in service in the Reasi department.
