He is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary at Assam in the Hon'ble CM Assam and Power (E) Department since 30 September 2025. Dr. Dwivedi has previously held the position of Principal Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Dr. Dwivedi continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
