Krishna Bajpai, born on 29 September 1983, is an IAS officer of the 2010 Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur and a Master's from the National University of Singapore. Currently, he serves as Director at the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi since 23 March 2026. His past roles include Regional Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Controller of Examinations, Project Director, Officer On Special Duty, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector and Magistrate. He has received the Young Alumni Achievers Award from IIT Kharagpur, among other honors.
