Krishna, born on January 5, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Executive Director, Special Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, General Manager, Regional Controller, Executive Magistrate, and Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department from August 2, 2010, to January 31, 2011.
