Krishan Kumar, born on September 4, 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2002 batch from the Odisha cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Seth G.S. Medical College, Bombay University. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, New Delhi, since March 9, 2022. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Chief Administrator, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Chairman, Administrator, Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman, District Collector and District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi and remains in active service.
