Kishan Singh Atoria, born on October 1, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and is a graduate in Hindi. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, Project Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, Special Secretary, and Secretary Director. His most recent position was Secretary of the Irrigation and Flood Control Department, starting December 7, 2009. Mr. Atoria’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Uttar Pradesh government.
