Kirpa Shankar Saroj, born on March 10, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Philosophy. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Special Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Secretary, Director, Additional Managing Director, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Power Department from December 21 to December 29, 2022. Saroj’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Punjab government.
