Currently, he is the District Magistrate at Hooghly, West Bengal, a position he has held since 27 October 2025. His previous roles include District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Officer on Special Duty, and Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in English, Kashmiri, and Bengali. Khursheed Ali Qadri continues to serve in the IAS.
