Kesonyu Yhome, born on October 6, 1980, is a 2007 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Nagaland cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Nagaland University. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Lotteries Department in Nagaland. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner & Secretary, Secretary to Government, Commissioner of Taxes, Additional Secretary, Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate, Principal Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Commissioner, and Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Tenyidie (Angami). Kesonyu Yhome continues to serve in the IAS with dedication.
