Kavita Singh, born on 11 September 1977, is an IAS officer of the 2004 Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A. in Economics from IGNOU Delhi and an M.A. in Economics. Currently serving as Joint Secretary in New Delhi since 24 August 2021, her extensive career includes roles such as Director, Secretary, Chief Administrator, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate, and Additional Commissioner. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and remains in service.
