Kavita Singh, born on September 11, 1977, is an IAS officer of the 2004 Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A. in Economics from IGNOU Delhi and an M.A. in Economics. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in New Delhi (since August 24, 2021). Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Director, Secretary, Chief Administrator, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate, and Additional Commissioner. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and remains in active service.
