Kaushal Kumar, born on 15 June 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Throughout his career, he has served as Municipal Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, Collector, and District Magistrate. Since 2 June 2025, he has been serving as the District Magistrate of Darbhanga, Bihar. Proficient in English and Hindi, Kaushal Kumar continues to contribute to public administration in his current role.
