Katru Rama Mohana Rao, born on 15 March 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairman, Additional Secretary, Commissioner, Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. His most recent position was Chairman of the Ports Department from 4 December 2021 to 31 March 2023. Rao’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
