Karan Bir Singh Sidhu, born on 31 July 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Labour Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and multiple Secretary and Principal Secretary roles. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Punjab, starting from 31 October 2017. Sidhu’s extensive service in the Punjab administration reflects his long-standing commitment to public administration until his retirement.
