Karan A Singh, born on August 4, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Punjab cadre. He holds degrees in Economics and Law (LL.B.). Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Special Chief Secretary at Punjab from June 26, 2020, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary, Protector General of Emigrants, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His service was primarily associated with the Administrative Reforms Department. Singh's extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the Punjab government.
