Kapil Mohan, born on 17 September 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Karnataka cadre. He held the position of Additional Chief Secretary in the Department of Tourism and Culture from 21 October 2022. His educational qualifications include a graduate degree in Physics, a postgraduate diploma in International Trade, and postgraduate management studies. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities such as Principal Secretary, Chairman, Managing Director, Deputy Director General, Director, Private Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He received the MIT-IFMR International Award for Hidden Successes, was a LEAD Fellow, and earned The St. Andrews Prize.
