Kapil Meena, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch from the Sikkim cadre, was born on July 10, 1983. He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Sub Divisional Magistrate, District Collector, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Managing Director. Since April 14, 2026, he has been serving as the Managing Director at the National Horticulture Board, New Delhi. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to be in service.
