Kanwaljeet Singh Cheema, born on April 19, 1964, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.E. degree and is currently serving as the State Editor in the West Bengal District Gazetteers department since September 23, 2022. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Member Secretary, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Officer on Special Duty to the Hon'ble Speaker, District Magistrate, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Under Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer.
